In 1993 Shane Moore began his career in the music industry as a
musician playing trombone, guitar and electric bass. He performed with
the group Dear Mr. Dempsey, and Allyson Hill before joining the Navy
in 1998.
After his stint in the Navy, around 2001, Shane began a concentration
on his professional music career with the band Syphen under the
direction of Media Five Entertainment (Bethlehem, PA).
After performing, around 2003, Shane started working in Professional
Audio. For the last 5 years, he has mixed live performances ranging
from metal to traditional jazz. His clients include major label
artists The Myriad, Decyfer Down, Disciple, Story Side-B, David
Crowder, Skid Row, August Burns Red, Gerald Veasley, and John
Pizzarelli (Frank Sinatra Band).
During this time Shane obtained a degree from the Omega School of
Applied Recording Arts and Sciences and is a Certified Digidesign Pro
Tools Operator. He continues to work with bands from Dublin, Ireland
to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Shane has also begun touring again and now balances his time with his
band Echoburn (Media Five Entertainment), producing regional talent,
and teaching audio technology at The Pennsylvania Academy of Recording
Arts and Sciences.
He is a member of the Audio Engineering Society
[i] and The Recording Academy [ii], his dedication to the industry and enthusiasm for the advances in
professional recording is what solidifies his place in popular music
today.
